Meet the Mash-Up Americans Team

We are your guide to hyphen-America.
The Mash-Up Americans is an award-winning media studio that has been inspiring fresh conversations around multifaceted identities since 2013. We have a popular long-running independent podcast, website and newsletter of the same name. Our original work includes an award-winning fiction podcast, Love & Noraebang and a special series on Grief.
We also partner with select clients, and have produced chart-topping audio and video podcasts and other digital extensions for everyone from Netflix, HBO and Reese Witherspoon to The Meanings of Democracy Lab, carving out a unique expertise turning meaningful ideas into impactful, entertaining content that connects.
Everything we do reflects the kaleidoscope of the Mash-Up American experience and at its core, pursues key questions:
What does it mean to be American today? Who are the Mash-Up leaders, makers, doers, and thinkers shaping culture, business, and how we walk through the world? How do we recenter stories on the voices, audiences, and ideas of The Future?
