Where Are The People Of Color in Children’s Books?

There were 3200 children’s books published in 2013. 93 of them were about black people. We hope for more books (for our bibliophiliac future kids) that reflect the Mash-Up-ness that we live. Thank god for Doc McStuffins!

Why One Mother Gave Back Her Adopted Son
